WE RECORD EVERY DETAIL.

We provide complex and detailed analyses of the inventory and condition of roads and update all the information on a regular basis.

We collect data on existing roads and their length, install and maintain driver location signs, build road registers and determine the surface structure and current condition of traffic infrastructure.

Road inventory data

Road inventory data gives a description of the road network that is to be surveyed regarding:

1. Structural information in terms of extent and material

  • Geometrical data with layout and elevation plans
  • Cross-sections and materials

2. Substantial influences on traffic

  • Traffic-related functionality of lanes
  • Traffic limitations

3. Interrelations with street space

  • Street furniture
  • Rest areas
  • Noise control

4. GIS data

  • Maps, coordinates, inventory data etc.

5. Structural information

  • Bridges, support structures, protective structures etc.

6. Condition

  • Ground-penetrating radar measurements, core samples etc.

7. Document management

  • Field maps, still images, node position sketches

Storage and visualisation of road inventory data

Chainage according to ASB
The distance between network nodes is assessed with measuring equipment approved according to ASB standards.

By making use of driver location signs, the database model can be used to visualise a site and the information can be made accessible for third parties (e.g. police, emergency services).

Street and driver location signs describe the position according to ASB. ? Driver location signs are located at a (standard) distance of 200 metres.

The two mainly used systems are:
